Tokens, watermarks, and plans — same rules as Pricing.
Complimentary = up to once per calendar day only when token balance is 0, and watermarked. Paid jobs = 1 token, no watermark. Open Billing when signed in for live numbers.
What is the complimentary daily enhancement?
You can use up to 1 complimentary enhancement per calendar day only when your token balance is 0. It uses the same processing paths as paid work. Complimentary outputs are watermarked.
Why don’t I have a complimentary enhancement today?
Either you already used today’s complimentary slot, or you currently have tokens. Complimentary is blocked while token balance is above 0.
Do I still get a complimentary enhancement if I have tokens?
No. If your token balance is above 0, each enhancement uses 1 paid token and remains watermark-free.
When does complimentary become available again?
Complimentary becomes available when both conditions are true: your token balance is 0 and the current calendar day’s complimentary slot has not been used.
Are complimentary jobs watermarked?
Complimentary outputs are watermarked (a small “Aurepix Free” mark on previews and downloads).
How many tokens does an enhancement use?
Each paid enhancement uses 1 token. Retries on the same job do not charge again.
What is the difference between the £9.99 token pack and the £4.99 monthly plan?
The £9.99 pack is a one-off purchase of 1,000 tokens that never expire — best when you want flexibility without a subscription. The £4.99/month plan is a subscription that gives 1,000 tokens each billing cycle (about 30 days); unused tokens do not carry over when your balance refreshes.
Do the £9.99 tokens ever expire?
No. Tokens from the £9.99 pack never expire — use them whenever you need paid, watermark-free runs beyond your daily complimentary enhancement.
Do monthly tokens expire?
Yes. Monthly plan tokens are tied to each subscription period (about 30 days). When your balance refreshes at renewal, unused tokens from that period do not carry over.
Does the annual plan expire?
Tokens from the £49.99/year plan are tied to your 12-month subscription period. Unused tokens do not carry over when your balance refreshes at renewal.
What happens when monthly or annual tokens expire?
At renewal your balance is set to the plan’s token amount again (1,000 per month or 15,000 per year). Tokens from the previous period do not roll forward.
Are paid jobs watermarked?
Paid token jobs are full quality and watermark-free.
Which plan is best for occasional use?
The £9.99 token pack — 1,000 tokens that never expire, with no subscription. Pair it with your free daily run for the lowest-pressure way to scale up.
Which plan is best for heavy use?
The £49.99/year plan with 15,000 tokens over 12 months — the best per-token value in the lineup for steady, high-volume work.
Do subscription tokens roll over month to month?
No. Monthly and annual subscriptions refresh your balance at renewal; unused tokens from the prior period do not carry over.
What happens if my payment fails?
Stripe may retry depending on your bank. Your subscription state updates from verified webhooks; you will see billing events on the Billing page and should update your payment method in the customer portal when available.
Where is my data processed?
Aurepix runs on our hosted GPU workers for this product. Files are scoped to your workspace and retained per your deployment’s retention policy — see Privacy for details.
